I’m Buck, I write about recovery and my journey to finally finding happiness at 60 years old. I spent decades in addiction, first alcohol, then benzodiazepines. I took benzos for over 20 years at high doses and doctors and even a pharmacist had told me that I would never be free of benzos because of the duration of use and high doses. But I did it! And now, I’m happy and I’m free of all substances.
I tell my story to let others know recovery is possible, even later in life. I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico with my beautiful wife. The beauty of the mountains that surround us grounds me and give me peace every day.
